Classical music generally and viola specifically are group activities. Learning to rehearse, work, and perform together is a HUGE part of the value of studying music, so I believe in group training and I specialize in viola sectionals for schools, universities, and youth orchestras. I'm also comfortable advising an entire string section or complete orchestra. Masterclasses are important for individual solo development and stage-craft, and chamber music ensemble coaching really gets to the nuts-and-bolts of how music works so I offer high-level instruction for these types of music education. I officiate competitions, auditions, chair placement tests, and juries too! Please contact me for availability and logistics.
